For 20 years, I have had the privilege to be involved in a cappella close harmony singing and the joyful communities that revolve around this.
For the past 7 years, I have had the honour of being a judge in the UK heats of the ICCA competition, the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, where university acappella groups from the USA and UK compete for an international title.
For 6 years I ran my own a cappella group, Original Sing, as Musical Director and arranger, where we won the 2013 Community Champions title at The Voice Festival and Choir of the Day in the 2014 BBC Choir Of The Year competition.
Before that I was a singer and arranger for Naked Voices, where we toured all over the UK and won the Edinburgh Fringe “Sell Out Show” award in 2003, 2005 and 2007.
I edited and mixed the recordings here myself. The aim was to achieve a clean sound as close to a live recording as possible and not sounding over-edited.
